The Carlos and Albert collection is shown in galleries throughout the United States, Europe, South America and Japan. Their larger-than life animal sculptures are ready for their English exclusive.
With over 250 sculptures to choose from, it will be impossible to not to pick one! The imaginative and fanciful Carlos and Albert collection is the unique collaborative effort of two individuals from diverse cultures Carlos Munoz, a native Mexico and Albert Ickenroth from Holland; bringing a completely fantasizing perceptive, of how anyone can work together to create magic.
In 1980, Albert met Carlos Munoz, an emerging artisan in his own right. Carlos had studied at the highly respected Cabanas institute in Guadalajara. He had also apprenticed with the area’s finest craftsmen and studied privately with several university art professors. Their work pays tribute to the many Mexican masters who have come before them, but they have developed their niche style that is instantly recognisable to their collectors. Their enduring fascination with Mexico is clear with the use of colour and pattern in their designs; the influences of both their cultures are present in the Carlos and Albert Collection.
