This sculpture is a version of the original ‘racing mako’ and captures the racing-look of the fastest shark in our oceans.
Selected parts and materials used in this sculpture are from modern Grand Prix cars.
Sculpture limited to 40 pieces.
Body: Carbon fibre 2 x 2 twill 200 gsm coated with UV resistant clear coating and painted detail.
Dorsal and underside fins: 0.5 mm photo etched stainless steel coated black.
Tail and pectoral fins: 0.5 mm photo etched stainless steel coated black.
Marking detail: Custom designed 2025 Ferrari vinyl transfer.
Teeth: Printed chrome on black decal.
Mounting base and rod: Mounted on a black coated wooden base with red Pirelli tyre ID logo and titanium drive pegs with inconel stainless steel reversion cone from a modern Formula One GP car.
Mounting method: Desk mounted.
