This heartfelt childhood promise, made at her grandmother’s house, was the spark that ignited a lifelong passion for art in Kealey Farmer. In 2003, after years of balancing creativity with a successful career in project management, Kealey made the bold decision to pursue her true calling. She left the corporate world behind and became a full-time artist — a leap of faith that would lead to extraordinary success.

Now based in Northamptonshire, the Derbyshire-born mixed media artist has become one of the UK’s most innovative, collectable, and beloved contemporary creatives. With over 25 years of painting, drawing, and self-guided study, Kealey’s journey has been one of constant evolution and fearless originality.

Her early works — abstract, vibrant, and full of energy — laid the foundation for what would become her signature style. In 2006, her introduction of 3D elements marked a turning point. Incorporating handmade embellishments, diamond dust, Swarovski crystals, and finishing each piece in resin, Kealey created a distinctive mixed media language that is instantly recognisable and widely celebrated.

Her work speaks intimately of romance, love, family, and connection — themes rendered with depth, texture, and warmth. Each piece is a story, both personal and universal, confidently told through shimmering layers and rich symbolism.

In 2016, Kealey signed with Wishbone Publishing Ltd, further cementing her place as a leading figure in British contemporary art. Today, her work continues to captivate collectors and admirers across the UK and beyond and Westover Gallery are delighted to represent such a talented artist.
