Eleven Ghosts | Studio Edition | Jimmy Law

Eleven Ghosts depicts a scene where my astronaut is surrounded and interacting with 10 spirits of butterflies. But then how eleven? Because the astronaut is also a spirit. People count the butterflies and go, but there’s only 10?

The state of the astronaut is uncertain, we just assume he is alive inside his suit, but in fact he is also a ghost. Perhaps I’m trying to relay that even after life our spirits will still seek out connection.
