Scorpio the Scorpion is a water sign associated with Pluto, symbolising intensity, transformation and emotional depth. In Greek mythology, Scorpio is linked to the story of Orion, the mighty hunter whose life was ended by a giant scorpion sent at the behest of Apollo.
Chris Rivers captures the mysterious and powerful nature of Scorpio in a dark, brooding composition. Midnight blue and black tones form the foundation, softened by atmospheric, creamy glazes that drift like celestial mists. At the lower edges, smears of deep crimson introduce a striking contrast, adding drama and a sense of raw intensity. Looming within the surrounding darkness, the constellation radiates an almost otherworldly presence, reflecting the enigmatic character of this zodiac sign.
