‘Delirium’ was originally titled my ‘playground’ piece. This oil painting was where I unloaded my strange ideas and allowed myself to play around without thinking too much about the finished outcome. It began as a space for testing out methods, colours and ideas for my eyes only, to one of my favourite and most fun pieces of art to work on. Taking away my own expectations of myself allowed this piece to stay fluid and fun, lighthearted and odd. From unnerving eyes, to the ethereal colour way of the background mimicking heavenly skies, ‘Delirium’ is a unique print that was originally never going to be seen by anyone but the artist.
