Celebrating 75 Years of the Monaco Grand Prix & Honouring Ayrton Senna
On May 25th, 2025, we celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Monaco Grand Prix as part of the Formula One World Championship. While racing in the principality dates back to 1929, it was in 1950 that Monaco joined the inaugural season of the F1 World Championship—earning its status as the crown jewel of the calendar.
As preparations unfold for this year’s historic race, it was a true honour to visit Monaco and experience the magic of the circuit firsthand. No driver embodies the spirit of Monaco more than Ayrton Senna, the undisputed king of the Grand Prix, with an incredible six victories.
To commemorate this legendary achievement, we brought our Ayrton Senna Monaco '88 Crystal Helmet—a one-off Swarovski-embellished masterpiece from a limited edition of just ten race-specific artworks—on a special journey across the iconic landmarks of Monte Carlo.
This helmet celebrates Senna’s unforgettable 1988 performance, where he secured pole position in his McLaren MP4/4 with what is widely considered the greatest qualifying lap in Formula One history. After the session, Senna famously remarked that he felt as though he had transcended conscious control—driving "in another dimension."
From the Fairmont hairpin to the Senna tribute memorial, from the Pink Palace to the shimmering harbour filled with yachts, standing trackside at Monaco evokes a kind of magic found nowhere else in the world.
We’re proud to share these images of an extraordinary work of art—what we believe to be the finest crystal helmet in the world—in tribute to a truly timeless champion.
