We are looking for an energetic, self motivated and confident full time Sales Consultant to join our team.
As an established independent gallery, we have a large customer base and sell art and sculpture by artists from the UK and around the World so a proven track record in luxury retail or sales is essential. We're looking for excellent communicators with a passion for sales: both face to face and on the phone.
You will need to be professional, and commercially astute, with experience in a luxury retail environment preferred but not essential. The ideal candidate will have the drive to excel in all aspects of retail, You will be a self-motivated individual who understands the tastes and requirements of your clients and knows how to encourage new sales and develop successful relationships. You will be hardworking and motivated by sales targets. You would be someone who puts customers at the heart of everything they do and enjoy creating a personal, relaxing shopping environment to suit every budget and taste. You will have exceptional communication skills and a high level of written and spoken English. Be willing to embrace opportunities to build your impeccable sales skills in order to offer quality and reassurance to all of our customers. An organised and structured individual who is able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
THE ROLE - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The role is assisting the managers role, you will be expected to work towards realistic but challenging sales targets and build a loyal client base. Your role would be dedicated to providing a very personal service to our clientele Conducting client consultations and meetings in the gallery and at their home or office with the view of converting the clients into customers Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities. Ensuring service standards in the gallery are constantly being offered in line with our core values
Our gallery staff numbers are small, flexibility is important as well as tenacity and the willingness to drive sales as a team and share success.
