Westover Gallery at Meridien Modena Ferrari Lymington | Monaco Grand Prix Art Event

Westover Gallery Joins Meridien Modena Ferrari for an Unforgettable Monaco Grand Prix Experience

This past weekend, Westover Gallery was delighted to partner with Meridien Modena Ferrari at their stunning showroom in Lymington for a special Monaco Grand Prix viewing event.

Bringing together Ferrari enthusiasts, art collectors and motorsport fans, the event provided the perfect setting to enjoy one of Formula One's most iconic races while showcasing exceptional artwork inspired by the world of motorsport.

The Jewel of the Formula One Calendar

Widely regarded as the most prestigious race in Formula One, the Monaco Grand Prix once again delivered excitement, strategy and world-class driving around the famous streets of Monte Carlo. The narrow circuit, glamorous backdrop and rich history make Monaco a unique challenge for drivers, where precision and concentration are rewarded at every turn.

Guests gathered throughout the showroom to watch the action unfold amongst an incredible display of Ferrari automobiles, sharing insights, predictions and plenty of racing conversation as the race progressed.

Celebrating Formula One Through Art

To complement the occasion, Westover Gallery brought a carefully curated collection of motorsport-inspired artwork from two artists with remarkable connections to Formula One: Paul Oz and Alastair Gibson.

Paul Oz has become one of the most recognised names in contemporary motorsport art. As the Official Formula One Artist, his energetic and instantly recognisable paintings have captured some of the sport's most legendary drivers and moments.

Known for his bold colours, expressive brushwork and larger-than-life compositions, Paul's work has been collected by drivers, teams and celebrities around the world. His unique ability to convey speed, emotion and personality has made him one of the most sought-after artists in the motorsport world.

A selection of his striking Formula One artworks proved a real talking point throughout the event, particularly amongst racing enthusiasts eager to celebrate the sport's greatest icons.

Alongside Paul Oz's work, guests were able to view extraordinary pieces by Alastair Gibson, internationally renowned as "The Carbon Artist."

Alastair creates stunning sculptures and wall art using genuine carbon fibre components sourced from Formula One teams and motorsport engineering projects. His innovative approach transforms highly technical materials into elegant works of art, giving retired racing components a new life and preserving a tangible piece of motorsport history.

His work is highly regarded by collectors worldwide and offers a fascinating connection between engineering excellence and artistic creativity—making it a perfect fit for an event celebrating both Ferrari and Formula One.

Great Conversations, New Connections and Italian Hospitality

Beyond the racing and artwork, the event provided a wonderful opportunity to meet new clients, reconnect with familiar faces and share our passion for both art and automotive excellence.

Guests enjoyed a delicious Italian-style buffet, adding an authentic touch to the occasion and creating a relaxed atmosphere for networking and conversation throughout the afternoon.

The combination of exceptional Ferrari vehicles, world-class motorsport, inspiring artwork and fantastic hospitality made for a memorable event that perfectly reflected the shared values of craftsmanship, performance and passion.

Thank You

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the team at Meridien Modena Ferrari for hosting such a fantastic event and to everyone who joined us in Lymington.

We thoroughly enjoyed sharing the work of Paul Oz and Alastair Gibson with fellow Formula One enthusiasts and collectors, and we look forward to collaborating on future events that celebrate the worlds of art, luxury and motorsport.
