Upcoming Exhibition: Julie Ann Scott Unveils “STAND” – A Tribute to Courage, Loss, and Hope

We are honoured to announce that Julie Ann Scott will be in attendance on 8th November as we unveil her deeply moving new collection, STAND — a powerful series of war paintings inspired by the human experience of World War II.

Scott’s latest body of work captures the emotional gravity of conflict — the resilience of those who endure, the memory of those who are lost, and the shared hope that unites us all. Each painting in STAND is both a testament and a challenge: a call to confront the realities of war while standing firm in our collective humanity.

Joining Julie Ann Scott in this significant exhibition are artworks by celebrated artists Marc Marot, Daisy Boman, and Steven Lovatt, whose works further deepen the dialogue between grief, survival, and the enduring power of art to heal and connect. Together, their creations form a tribute not only to those who have fallen, but to those who continue to look toward the light of peace.

Also on display will be a collection of important tribute pieces, honouring the memory of the past while offering hope for the future. This exhibition invites reflection — on the personal and collective ways war shapes us, and on the strength it takes to stand through it all.

War affects us each differently, yet there is always a common denominator: our shared humanity. Through STAND, Julie Ann Scott and her fellow artists remind us that even in times of division and despair, art has the power to unify, to heal, and to help us stand together once more.

Join us on 8th November for the unveiling of STAND — a moment to reflect, remember, and rediscover hope through the lens of art.
