Amy’s amazing animals wow at Westover

Aircraft weren’t the only thing flying into Bournemouth this Air Festival weekend, as the fabulous artist Amy Louise revealed her new collection of Feathered Friends at Westover Gallery. Original paintings of parrots, penguins and flamingos flocked to the gallery for the packed exhibition. Collectors gathered to see the original work and had the pleasure of meeting Amy in person.

These Feathered Friends were accompanied by all sorts of animal characters, and attendees enjoyed seeing Amy’s vibrant paintings come to life on Westover Gallery’s walls. Her vivid mixed-media paintings included quirky portraits of llamas, bulldogs and piglets, all bursting with personality. The breathtaking 107 x 150 cm March Of The Penguins was a centre-piece of the show. One of the largest works Amy has painted, she created it especially for the Bournemouth exhibition.

Our Bournemouth collectors were thrilled to meet Amy to discuss her work and were ecstatic to find the perfect painting to take home with them.

Amy was kind enough to personally dedicate all work purchased for any collector who requested (in gold marker pen brought along especially for the occasion).

All of us at Westover Gallery loved meeting Amy just as much as collectors, and we can't wait for her next visit. And Amy enjoyed the exhibition just as much as us. “It was an absolute pleasure to exhibit my work with Westover Gallery,” said Amy. “The Gallery put a huge amount of effort into displaying, organising and advertising my work ahead of the opening.”

“On the day, I was overwhelmed by all of the clients who came and bought,” she said.“I met some wonderful people - it’s definitely an exhibition I’ll remember forever!”
