At the sweet, tender age of two months (his mother assured us of this), Marty Goldstein became infatuated with all manner of stuffed, furry creatures. Puppies with long ears or puppies with short ears, puppies with soulful eyes, and all types of expressive puppies, soon became his most treasured possessions.
Eventually, those charming stuffed animals were exchanged for a real live puppy who responded to his master with unmitigated love- and who made him laugh time and again as he went off to work in the stressful corporate world.
Then one day, at the age of 62, Marty retired. After taking numerous sculpting classes, he decided to create a series of whimsical bronze “Harvey Dogs”- so named by his daughter, because Harvey is Marty’s middle name. Marty enjoys sharing this delightful collection with anyone who has a love for animals, or who simply prefers to begin each day with a smile or a chuckle.
In fact, it’s very difficult not to smile when you look at a “Harvey Dog!” Marty considers his day a success if at least one person has smiled while viewing his “Harvey Dog” creations. As you can imagine, Marty has lots of successful days
