Technical Specifications
The Red Velvet Hound Gossaert Diorama is a re-imagining of The Adoration of the Kings by Jan Gossaert a French Renaissance painter born in 1478. The depth, the colour and the highly detailed oil painting drew Kristjana to this work and she imagined providing the stage for a riot of birds and mammals border with red velvet curtains. This exploration allowed her to create a diorama with the depth that makes the multiple layered work and creating a whole new stage, feel and a explore of the work. Each of the 6 layers are hand and laser cut and slotted into a bespoke dark brown wooden frame with double anti reflective glass.

The piece is printed, hand and laser cut and framed in England, using the highest quality archival paper (Matt Smooth Fine Art Cotton 300 gsm) and highest quality inks (giclée), to ensure you are able to enjoy your piece for years to come.
