Halo to a Noose

A signed, limited edition boxed canvas by contemporary artist Keith Maiden.

Keith Maiden's Autumn 2015 Collection draws inspiration from the transcript of a 1965 broadcast speech by Paul Harvey, entitled 'If I Were The Devil'.

Halo To A Noose is inspired by the biblical tale of the 'feeding of the 5000' and a paragraph within the If I Were The Devil speech; "If I were the devil I'd peddle narcotics to whom I could, I'd sell alcohol to ladies and gentlemen of distinction. I'd tranquilise the rest with pills." It offers Keith's take on the good turned bad; a modern day 'saviour' helping people, but instead of feeding them with food he is dealing drugs.
