Scarlet Raven - The Danger Tree Collection collection

Following the sell out show of Scarlett Ravens ground breaking augmented reality exhibition The Danger Tree in London earlier this year, Scarlett's exhibition continues to coincide with the 100 year anniversary of the end of The Battle of the Somme.

Over two years in the making, the collection takes its name from the only tree left standing on the battlefield during the fighting, and is inspired by legendary WW1 poets Wilfred Owen, Siegfried Sassoon and Rupert Brooke. Using augmented reality app Blippar, viewers can unlock Scarlett's poignant work, stripping away the countless layers of paint to reveal the creative journey beneath each painting. The collection challenges us to view alternative versions of the multi-layered, immersive work, seen through the words of the war poets and movingly expressed by leading British actors such as Sean Bean and Christopher Eccleston.

Scarlett is the first oil painter to work with Blipper - an interactive app that unlocks an augmented reality in the collection, revealing Scarletts immense process behind each process.
